Panda Digital is a record label dedicated to the distribution of quality recordings in the United States, whether they are produced by us or are created by independent artists/producers. Our releases can be found in chain stores such as Borders, Virgin MegaStore, and Barnes and Noble from coast to coast. Panda Digital CDs can also be purchased on several websites including amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, cduniverse.com, allaboutmusic.com, and alljazz.com. Our primary focus has been on jazz and world music, however we are planning to expand into other genres. Panda Digital is negotiating for the release of our recordings in additional territories.
Panda Digital signed an agreement with a multinational digital music aggregator, whereby our tracks can be downloaded legally on a pay-per-track basis through websites such as iTunes, Napster, MP3.com, and Musicmatch as well as many others.
We were successful in licensing a recording to an Emmy Award® winning film maker for an internationally released feature film and one of our artist's recording was chosen for the worldwide television campaign of the United Nations Food Program.
We are now placing much effort into getting our catalog of recordings in front of the music supervisors who chose the music for major Hollywood motion picture studios, U.S. television networks, independent film makers, documentary producers, advertising agencies, software companies, and cellular phone companies. We strongly believe that these venues not only create additional revenues for the musicians, songwriters and to Panda, but they provide mass exposure that only those mediums can provide.
